2013 Voiceless Awards - ADO receives grant

The founders of the Animal Defenders Office ACT, Shelley Landmark and Tara Ward, were extremely grateful to receive a grant at the 2013 Voiceless Awards in Sydney.

Shelley and Tara received their grant at a prestigious ceremony held in the Blue Hotel at the Woolloomooloo Wharf in Sydney on 5 December 2013.  Dr Ken Henry, former Head of the Department of the Treasury, was the key note speaker at the event.

Grant funds will go towards the cost of the ADO's community education program, and will help the Office provide free advice and representation to people who want to protect animals.

A big thank you to Voiceless: the animal protection institute for their generous support.
